Pakistan, Oct. 7 -- Five people, including four Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) officials and a traffic police officer, were killed in separate firing incidents in Dera Ismail Khan (DIK) on Tuesday, District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin said.

The firing took place at Bhatti Pump on University Road, within the jurisdiction of University Police Station, at around 11:40am. Rescue 1122 media coordinator said its control room received information about the firing at Bhatti Pump and immediately dispatched emergency teams to the scene.

The rescue teams recovered the bodies of four people killed in the incident and began shifting them to DHQ Hospital, the coordinator said.
