Pakistan, July 6 -- Four personnel of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Police were allegedly abducted in Rawalakot by individuals identified by authorities as members of a banned Action Committee, according to official claims.

Authorities said the alleged incident occurred amid an ongoing protest in Rawalakot, which they claimed had seen limited public participation.

Officials alleged that following the protest's failure to attract significant support, members of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee resorted to unlawful activities and attempts to create unrest.
