Pakistan, July 18 -- At least four people were killed and four others remain missing after a flash flood struck a mountainous village in northern Vietnam. The disaster followed several days of heavy rainfall in Lai Chau province. Rescue efforts are continuing as authorities assess the damage.

According to the Vietnam News , the flash flood hit Muong Than village early on Friday. Seven people were also injured in the incident. Images released by state media showed floodwaters, mud, rocks, and fallen logs covering roads and surrounding areas.
