Pakistan, Aug. 16 -- Five people were killed and a child sustained injuries when a speeding car crashed into a tree near Harbanspura Canal Road here on Saturday. According to Rescue 1122, two pedestrians and three occupants of the car died after the vehicle lost control and rammed into a roadside tree. A child, also sustained injuries in the accident. The deceased were identified as 15-year-old Muzammil, 18-year-old Nauman, 20-year-old Abdul Rehman, 17-year-old Furqan, and a 19-year-old Junaid. The dead bodies were shifted to the Services Hospital. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic death of five people.
