Pakistan, April 30 -- Shelling from Afghanistan once again targets Pakistani civilian populations in border areas adjacent to Angoor Adda, South Waziristan. A mortar shell fired from the Afghan side struck the house of local residents Karim Khan and Rehmatullah.
As a result of the mortar explosion, five individuals, including four children and one woman, were injured. The injured children are aged 13, 10, 8, and 3 years old.
All the injured have been shifted to DHQ Hospital Wana.
The local residents have expressed deep grief and sorrow over this action from the Afghan side. It is worth noting that just a few days ago, three people were injured in the same area due to unprovoked firing from Afghanistan.
