Pakistan, Sept. 14 -- Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday highlighted that timely first aid plays a crucial role in saving precious human lives, stressing the vital need to promote public awareness and basic emergency medical skills across the province.

In her message on World First Aid Day, the Chief Minister paid rich tribute to Rescue 1122 personnel and hospital emergency staff for their round-the-clock services and immediate medical support to victims of accidents and disasters.
