Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- Indian filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia has questioned the quality of storytelling in contemporary Indian cinema. He cited Dhurandhar while discussing changing filmmaking trends and commercial success. Dhulia said popular films increasingly rely on familiar formats rather than strong stories.
Speaking about Dhurandhar, Dhulia described its execution as engaging but questioned its central storyline. He said the film follows an undercover operative who enters Pakistan and creates chaos. According to Dhulia, such a premise does not represent a traditional story.
