Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- Former Papua New Guinea international Alex Davani has criticised FIFA development funding system. He says smaller football federations may remain silent because they fear losing essential financial support. Davani believes funding can sometimes cover an entire federation's operating budget. Therefore, officials may avoid taking public positions during FIFA's internal dispute. He made the comments ahead of a meeting involving Oceania's 11-member football confederation.
