Pakistan, July 7 -- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said the NATO summit in Ankara will help shape the alliance's future and strengthen its response to evolving security threats. He said the gathering would guide NATO in adapting its structures to a rapidly changing global security environment. The two-day summit began on Tuesday under Turkiye's presidency.

In a post on X, Fidan said Turkiye was ready to welcome NATO leaders under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He described the summit as a defining moment for the alliance. He added that the decisions taken in Ankara would influence Euro-Atlantic security for years to come.
