Pakistan, July 21 -- The Federal Investigation (FIA) has established a dedicated Crypto Currency Investigation Unit to prevent the misuse of digital currencies for money laundering, terrorism financing and other financial crimes.

According to FIA officials, the special unit was created on the directives of the FIA director general to strengthen investigations into suspicious cryptocurrency transactions and address emerging challenges linked to digital financial systems.
