Pakistan, April 30 -- The federal government has declined to provide gas to CNG stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, citing a nationwide shortage. The decision is expected to affect fuel availability and increase difficulties for consumers in the province. Energy supply constraints remain a key challenge across Pakistan.

According to sources, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Advisor Muzammil Aslam contacted Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik regarding the issue. Following the discussion, the provincial government was informed of the federal decision. Officials said the matter was communicated directly to the chief minister.
