Pakistan, Sept. 30 -- The Federal Board of Revenue has decided to seal registered businesses not linked to its monitoring system. The move follows amendments to the Sales Tax Rules 2006. The changes introduce stricter requirements for electronic monitoring at covered business locations.
Under the new notification, businesses must install production monitoring or video surveillance systems. A Digital Eye system may also be required under the amended rules. Registered businesses failing to connect with the FBR system could face enforcement action.
