Pakistan, May 15 -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a reward of up to $200,000 for information leading to the location or arrest of former US Air Force officer Monica Witt, who is accused of spying for Iran.
Witt, a former counterintelligence specialist and US Air Force service member, was charged in 2019 with espionage-related offences for allegedly sharing classified US intelligence information with the Iranian government.

According to the FBI, Witt defected to Iran in 2013 and has remained unaccounted for since then. Authorities believe she provided sensitive information to Iranian officials after leaving the United States.
