Pakistan, April 15 -- European envoys pushed for stronger trade and investment ties with Pakistan during high-level talks in Islamabad. They met Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan along with Italian Ambassador Marilina Armellin and Danish Ambassador Maja Mortensen. The discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation amid global economic uncertainty and supply chain disruptions.
The minister highlighted Pakistan's role as a responsible global partner in managing geopolitical tensions. He stressed the country's efforts to promote dialogue and de-escalation during regional conflicts. He also pointed to disruptions in key maritime routes, including the Strait of Hormuz, affecting global energy and supply chains.
