Pakistan, April 14 -- The European Union and Canada have praised Pakistan's role in facilitating US-Iran peace efforts during separate telephone conversations with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The recognition highlights Pakistan's growing diplomatic influence in regional conflict resolution. The development comes amid ongoing efforts to stabilize tensions between Washington and Tehran.

EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas commended Pakistan's constructive role in enabling direct US-Iran negotiations held in Islamabad. According to the Foreign Office, both sides stressed the importance of continued dialogue and diplomacy. They also reviewed ongoing regional developments and agreed to maintain close coordination.
