Pakistan, Aug. 13 -- Electricity prices in Pakistan may increase for three consecutive months under a proposed quarterly adjustment. The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has reserved its decision on a request from power distribution companies. The companies have sought to transfer an additional Rs34 billion burden to consumers. If approved, consumers could face higher electricity bills in the coming months.
