Pakistan, Sept. 30 -- An electric scooter battery reportedly exploded while charging at Government College Women University Faisalabad on Wednesday. The resulting fire destroyed a parked university bus and seven other electric scooters. Rescue 1122 teams controlled the blaze, while no injuries or casualties were reported.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson Faisal Anwar, the university's fire safety system activated during the incident. Security officials received an alert and support staff evacuated the affected area. Rescue teams then reached the campus and brought the fire under control.
