Pakistan, Aug. 23 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the historic city of Multan has immense potential to become a major tourism hub, with the provincial government undertaking multi-billion-rupee projects for the restoration and rehabilitation of its historic sites.

She said projects, including the rehabilitation of Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh, and other historical places would help preserve Multan's rich heritage and promote tourism in the city.

The CM expressed these views during a meeting with Multan MPAs Muhammad Salman, Nazik Karim and Malik Lal Muhammad, on Saturday.
