Pakistan, Oct. 25 -- Eight countries, including Pakistan, have called for renewed diplomatic efforts to resolve regional conflicts and prevent further escalation. Their foreign ministers stressed the importance of dialogue, peaceful negotiations and cooperation to achieve lasting peace and stability. The ministers reached this understanding during a meeting in Istanbul on October 23, 2026.

Foreign ministers from Turkiye, Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, alongside their counterparts from France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, attended the meeting.
