Pakistan, Sept. 1 -- The Election Commission of Pakistan has reserved its verdict on Awaam Pakistan's appeal against its delisting. The party challenged the decision over alleged failure to hold intra-party elections. Party chief Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appeared before the commission during Tuesday's hearing.

A four-member ECP bench led by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja heard the appeal. The commission had delisted Awaam Pakistan on August 7. It took the action after noting that the party had not provided election records.
