Pakistan, Aug. 29 -- An Ebola outbreak in eastern Congo has spread to two more health zones, raising the total number of affected areas to 60. Congo's Health Ministry reported the latest figures on Friday. The outbreak has now recorded 5,794 confirmed cases and 2,786 deaths. Officials say the disease continues to spread faster than response efforts can contain it. Meanwhile, difficult conditions are making containment efforts increasingly challenging.
