Pakistan, July 28 -- An unidentified drone struck an artillery storage facility in Iraq's Sulaimani province early Tuesday, igniting a large fire at a military base affiliated with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), according to local media. Authorities have not yet confirmed casualties or the extent of the damage.

The strike targeted an artillery unit in Qalachwalan, a strategic area in northwestern Sulaimani that previously housed the PUK's politburo headquarters and continues to host several security installations.
