Pakistan, May 30 -- On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, digital monitoring of the Eid cleanliness operation is being carried out by the Safe City Authority, while drone technology is being utilised for "Operation Clean" for the first time in Punjab's history.

Drone cameras have been deployed successfully in narrow streets and suburban areas of various cities across the province to monitor the presence of animal waste and offal during Eidul Azha cleanliness activities.

Monitoring of the cleanliness operation through Safe City cameras is also continuing in Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, Pakpattan and Dera Ghazi Khan, along with several other cities.
