Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- Professor Dr Tanveer-ul-Khaliq, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), has been assigned additional charge of Executive Director (ED) of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), marking a change in the leadership of the federal capital's major public-sector hospital. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of National Health Services, Dr Tanveer-ul-Khaliq has been given the additional charge of PIMS Executive Director, while the outgoing ED Dr Muhammad Salman has been repatriated to his parent organization, the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
