Pakistan, April 23 -- Renowned Pakistani-born cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Hasnat Khan has returned to Pakistan after spending nearly three decades working in the United Kingdom, marking a major professional transition in his medical career.
Dr Khan, who is 68, is widely recognised internationally for his distinguished medical career in Britain as well as his past personal association with the late Princess of Wales, Diana.
The surgeon gained global attention in the 1990s due to his reported relationship with Princess Diana, which is believed to have lasted from 1995 to 1997, before her death in a car crash in Paris in 1997. Their relationship has since remained a subject of public and media interest worldwide.
