Pakistan, Aug. 10 -- Dutch rider Demi Vollering won the Tour de France Femmes overall title on Sunday after a dramatic final stage in Nice secured her second championship. The 29-year-old previously won the race in 2023 and completed another strong campaign by winning the final two stages.

Vollering entered the final stage with an eight-second advantage over 2024 champion Kasia Niewiadoma after launching a late attack on Saturday. Niewiadoma had earlier taken the yellow jersey on Mont Ventoux, creating a tense battle that continued until the final kilometres.
