Pakistan, June 4 -- Authorities in India's capital, Delhi, have announced a citywide crackdown on fire safety violations following a devastating hotel fire that killed 21 people, including several foreign nationals.

The blaze erupted at a hotel in the Malviya Nagar area of New Delhi on Wednesday, making it the deadliest fire incident in the city since 2022. According to reports, the hotel was frequently used by patients receiving treatment at a nearby hospital and their accompanying family members.
