Pakistan, Aug. 17 -- The death anniversary of Baba-e-Urdu, Maulvi Abdul Haq, was observed across the country with great respect and reverence. In Karachi, a delegation of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) visited the mausoleum of Baba-e-Urdu, where a special ceremony was held to pay tribute to his outstanding services to the Urdu language and literature.

On behalf of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Zabta Khan Shinwari, Registrar Professor Dr Syed Inayat Ali Shah and Dean and Campus In-charge Dr. Kamal Haider laid a floral chadar at the mausoleum and offered Fateha.
