Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- A dignified ceremony was held at SKB Academy to mark Pakistan Defence Day. Students paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Army and national heroes through patriotic songs, tableaux and speeches.

The ceremony highlighted the bravery, sacrifices and historic role of the Pakistan Army in defending the country during the 6 September 1965 war. Addressing the students, School Chairman Mushtaq Baloch and Vice Chairman Atif Baloch spoke about the importance of Defence Day and said that, on this day, the Pakistani armed forces foiled the enemy's designs and successfully defended the homeland.
