Pakistan, Oct. 29 -- The death toll from a tragic ambulance fire in Sindh's Tharparkar district rose to nine on Thursday following severe burn injuries. Mithi Deputy Commissioner Hameed Jagirani confirmed the updated casualty count following the devastating explosion in the Dano Dhandhal area of Nagarparkar taluka. The catastrophic fire erupted inside an ambulance managed by the Peoples Primary Healthcare Initiative on Wednesday night. The vehicle was preparing to transport a female patient who experienced post-surgical complications after giving birth at a basic health unit. Consequently, regional health authorities launched immediate emergency response protocols and medical evacuations.
