Pakistan, May 25 -- At least 16 people were killed and seven others injured after a passenger coach collided with a parked bus on the Swat Motorway in the Khoro Kotay Saeed Abad area near Mardan on Monday, according to rescue officials.

The tragic accident occurred when the Swat-bound passenger coach crashed into a bus that had reportedly been parked on the roadside due to a mechanical fault. Rescue 1122 spokesperson Syyed Abbas Shah confirmed the death toll and said emergency teams immediately rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident.
