ISLAMABAD, Aug. 19 -- Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has invited Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar to an upcoming regional meeting in Istanbul. The meeting will include foreign ministers from Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Fidan extended the invitation during a phone call with Dar on Wednesday. The two ministers discussed recent regional developments and efforts to promote peace and stability.
