Pakistan, May 4 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Monday, focusing on the evolving regional situation and Pakistan's continued diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office (FO), both sides discussed ongoing developments in the Middle East and exchanged views on Pakistan's role in facilitating dialogue between concerned parties. The FO said the call took place late Sunday night.
