Pakistan, July 18 -- Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has called for urgent de-escalation amid rising regional tensions, stressing respect for state sovereignty and territorial integrity. Dar made the remarks during a call with Kuwait's foreign minister as Gulf security concerns increased.

Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Saturday. The two officials discussed recent regional developments and emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability.
