Pakistan, July 24 -- Pakistan and Iran reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and promoting regional peace during a meeting at the SCO. The discussions focused on regional stability, diplomacy, and closer cooperation between the neighboring countries.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic. Both leaders reviewed the evolving regional situation.
