Pakistan, April 27 -- Construction of the Daducha Dam, a Rs 52,730 million project aimed at addressing water needs in Rawalpindi, has reached 60 percent completion and is scheduled to be finished by 2029, Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Engineer Aamir Khattak said on Sunday.
According to the Commissioner's Office, overall progress includes 39 percent completion of the main dam, 62 percent of spillways and 78 percent of general dam works, while the cofferdam and diversion arrangements have been completed.
