Pakistan, Sept. 12 -- More than 227,000 citizens reported cyber fraud across Pakistan during the past three years. According to official sources, fraudsters cheated 227,757 people during this period. The victims collectively lost around Rs8.32 billion to different cyber scams. Several parliamentarians also became victims of these fraudulent activities.

The report showed 83,080 cyber fraud complaints in 2024. The number fell to 76,686 cases during 2025. However, 68,034 people have already reported cyber fraud in 2026. These figures show that online scams continue to affect thousands of citizens across the country.
