Pakistan, July 29 -- The Balochistan government has imposed a district-wide curfew in Noshki with immediate effect, citing a deteriorating law and order situation, as authorities tighten security measures in the region.

According to a notification issued by the Balochistan Home Department, the curfew came into force at 8pm on July 28 and will remain in place until 8pm on July 31.

During the curfew, residents are prohibited from leaving their homes without prior permission from the relevant authorities. The order also bans all public gatherings, processions and rallies, while unnecessary travel within the district has been suspended.
