Pakistan, Sept. 28 -- The Sindh Culture Department has clarified that the restoration work at the historic Budha Ashram in Shikarpur has not been stopped, rejecting reports published in Daily Sobho and other newspapers and television channels regarding an alleged suspension of the project.

Executive Engineer of the Culture Department, Akhtar Ali Mangi, said that a letter was issued to the contractor on September 22, 2026, directing him to carry out the restoration work strictly in accordance with the approved PC-1 and revised PC-1, as well as the prescribed government rules and procedures.
