The 41-year-old forward shared an open letter explaining his sudden departure from Portugal's camp. He also said he expects to return after serving any suspension imposed on him.

Ronaldo said he remains available whenever he stays physically fit and continues scoring for his club. He stressed that he wants to compete and win for Portugal, as he has throughout his international career. His statement came after his exit from the team following the Norway match.
