Pakistan, Sept. 4 -- Cases will start being registered against those responsible for the Pims fire within the next two to three days, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazl Chaudhry told media on Thursday.
Chaudhry said eight people, including the executive director of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, have been suspended following the preliminary report into the incident.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday met nurse Razia Noreen, who saved a newborn's life during a fire at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), and handed over a Rs 10 million cheque in recognition of her extraordinary bravery and sense of duty.
