Pakistan, June 30 -- The Cricket at LA 2028 Olympics qualification pathway has been confirmed, marking the sport's historic return to the Olympic Games for the first time since 1900. Men's and women's cricket tournaments will be played in the T20 format, with six teams competing in each event.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), one top-ranked team from each of the four regions-Asia, Africa, Europe, and Oceania-will qualify directly based on the ICC T20 International rankings. Host nation United States will also qualify automatically if it is ranked among the top 15 teams. The sixth and final spot will be decided through the ICC Olympic Qualifier in 2027.
