Pakistan, Aug. 31 -- Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC), Mian Kashif Ashfaq, said on Sunday that the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC-II) offered Pakistan an excellent opportunity to revive its economy by prioritizing climate change targets and promoting green development.

Chairing a meeting of the PFC Board of Directors, he highlighted that CPEC-II aligns with the goals of the second phase of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), commonly referred to as the "Green BRI."
