Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- A judicial magistrate has directed the inquiry officer to complete the investigation into the Gul Plaza fire case by August 9 and submit a detailed report at the next hearing. The court issued the order after the investigation officer requested additional time, explaining that responses from all relevant departments had not yet been received.

During the hearing, the investigation officer informed the court that six government agencies had already submitted their replies. These included the Traffic Police, Fire Brigade, Civil Defence, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Deputy Commissioner South and Rescue 1122. However, responses from the Sindh Building Control Authority and the Water Corporation are still pending.
