Pakistan, Oct. 13 -- The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Monday handed over suspect Nauman to the police on a five-day physical remand in a case involving the alleged suicide of an International Islamic University student following an alleged fraud.

The suspect was produced before Judicial Magistrate Zunaira Zafar. The police had requested a 10-day physical remand for further investigation, but the court approved five days.

The police brought the suspect before the court with his face covered. A case against him has been registered at Ramna Police Station.

During the hearing, the investigation officer told the court that all facts and circumstances of the case needed to be examined to establish what had happened.
