Pakistan, June 13 -- Pakistan's defence industry has become a valuable source of foreign exchange, with several countries showing interest in purchasing Pakistani fighter jets. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb made the remarks during his budget speech. He said the development reflects growing global recognition of Pakistan's defence capabilities.

The finance minister said the success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos marked a significant chapter in the country's history. He stated that Pakistan's response to Indian aggression in May 2025 enhanced the country's international standing.
