Pakistan, July 13 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in her message on World Hope Day, said that when people show courage and determination, the light of hope turns into the radiant sun of conviction.

She said hope is an emotion that gives people the strength to move forward. The day serves as a reminder that despite difficulties and challenges, one should never let go of hope.

The chief minister said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had become the hope of the people. She added that the government was working day and night to live up to the expectations of the people of Pakistan.
