Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and saluted its Shaheens and valiant personnel on Air Force Day.

The chief minister offered special prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for their bereaved families. In her special message on Air Force Day, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid tribute to the professional capabilities of the PAF's Shaheens. She said that PAF heroes, including Shaheed Rashid Minhas, had written remarkable chapters of courage, bravery and valour in the skies.
