Pakistan, Oct. 18 -- Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stressed that national security must remain above political considerations, urging political leaders not to allow state interests to become casualties of partisan politics. Addressing Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in a statement posted on social media platform X, the chief minister said that while differences of opinion are an essential feature of democracy, issues relating to national security and counterterrorism require responsible discourse, unity and a commitment to national interests.
