Pakistan, Sept. 24 -- India's Cockroach Janta Party has demanded Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation within 48 hours. The youth-led group warned of nationwide protests if Kumar does not step down. The demand follows allegations concerning changes to India's voter lists.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke announced the ultimatum during a press conference on Thursday. He said the organisation would begin nationwide protests if Kumar remained in office. The group also demanded an independent review of decisions involving voter-list changes.
